New Honey Radar Split Release Available for Streaming & Purchase

Philly's own Honey Radar and Bloomington, Indiana's Mike Adams at His Honest Weight share musical territory on their new split release, Frogman / Weather On, co-issued via Third Uncle Records and Flannelgraph Records. For their part, Honey Radar meshes coarse rough-n-tumble rock with an alluring psych invitation, while their counterpart contrasts with a clairvoyant polish. You can catch Jason Henn and company next Thursday, November 2 at Kung Fu Necktie, as part of a locals-only bill that also includes Dark Web, Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Telepathic, and Soft Crime.

New Honey Radar/Telepathic Split Available for Streaming

The forthcoming Honey Radar/Telepathic split, which will be released on limited edition cassette on April 20 via Third Uncle Records, is currently available for streaming/pre-order below. Honey Radar continue to percolate in their raw-riff, reserved, lo-fi, psych station, while Telepathic pushes the pace in controlled, melodic aggression. Honey Radar is slated to perform at The Storefront on April 19, on a lineup that also includes Faults, Daytime Cleaners, and The Red F.

Honey Radar Record Release Show at KFN May 31

Philly garage-psych rockers Honey Radar have a new LP out via What's Your Rupture?, entitled Blank Cartoon. The lo-fi experimentalists obviously enjoy playing around with noise, before eventually locking into grooves that are made for lounging in the sun with a beer in one hand and a "J" in the other. It's good ole summertime fun, and you can soak in the vibes this evening at Kung Fu Necktie, where Jason Henn and company will be kickin' it live with Telepathic, People Skills, and Life Stinks. It's ok. You can let work know that I gave you permission to extend your Memorial Day weekend. Kung Fu Necktie, 1250 N. Front St., 9pm, $6, 21+ - Alexis V.

New Track: "Ft. Wayne Mermaids" - Honey Radar

Honey Radar will release their latest album Blank Cartoon via What’s Your Rupture on May 20. “Fort Wayne Mermaids”, the new song from Jason Henn and Co., balances soothing vocals over the groove created by merging twisting guitar lines and the steady snap of the backend. However in a flash, just as you begin to sink in to it’s over.  Honey Radar is scheduled to perform a record release show show at Kung Fu Necktie on May 31, with Telepathic, People Skills, and Life Stinks.
