We mentioned earlier this week that Diplo is running a contest to win free lifetime entry into all his shows to celebrate the upcoming release of his Express Yourself EP on June 12. (Sorry dudes, apparently it’s for females only, and unlike Donald Trump and Miss Universe, we highly doubt transgender individuals will be allowed to enter. However, we don’t think that they’ll be testing so we’d love to see one win just to see the disappointed look on Diplo’s face. ;o) Well, you can now get a sneak preview of the album via Spotify, which also has contributions from Elephant Man, GTA, Datsik, Nicky Da B and more, so pop into that handstand and “let your booty go.”

So Diplo has been playing mind games with his fans for a while now teasing the release of his new EP Express Yourself. Well, the album finally has an official drop date of June 12 - although we’ve heard that one before. However, he also just announced a contest to win free lifetime entry to any Diplo/Major Lazer show. (That’s a lot of rad bills and festivals - fo sho!) All you have to do is tweet to #EXPRESSYOURSELF a photo of you expressing yourself in the craziest location possible. If you ever had the notion to take a lot of drugs and dance your way across Canada, then the Full Flex Express tour might be something that you want to look into. Diplo, Grimes and Skrillex will be hitting the rails this July along with Pretty Lights, KOAN Sound and Tokimonsta as they take a private passenger train together to tour our northern neighbors. The idea was inspired by the Festival Express tour that The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and The Band did across Canada in 1970 as well as the Railroad Revival tour last year which featured Mumford and Sons and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. If you tend to dislike the crowded, sweaty mess at a sold out Diplo show, then you can now get fucked up and listen to him deejay in the comfort of your own home (alone or with a bunch of friends) because the globetrotting, tweeting producer/DJ will now have his own weekly program for BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra called “Diplo & Friends.” Its inaugural broadcast will be this Saturday, April 7 from 1 - 3am GMT (8 - 10pm EST). What should you expect? There will be “exclusive mixes from Diplo, the Mad Decent stable of artists, and a selection of big name pals and cutting edge new artists.” The first episode will feature Canadian producer Lunice and Mad Decent creative director Paul Devro. Other guests for April episodes will include Dillon Francis, Flosstradamous, Brodinski and more.
