New AllegrA EP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Yet, Not Enough is the new EP from the quartet of AllegrA, which is out now via Citrus City Records. An airy, sunny sensitivity permeates in these recordings. Through infectious twists and turns, the album captures a sense of intimacy, within these sonic adventures. AllegrA will be hosting its record release show at World Cafe Live on Saturday, March 23, joined by Beach Bod and Boosegumps.

New Track: "Spoon or Fork" - AllegrA

Yet, Not Enough, the forthcoming EP from AllegrA, is set to arrive on March 12 via Citrus City Records. “Spoon or Fork,” its lead single, captures the picturesque, dreamy qualities of a relationship's beginning. Getting to know each other while exploring a new, untarnished residence, there’s an inherent sun, shining through the blind's warmth, as every aspect appears to glimmer optimistically. Then, amid those shimmering qualities, heart-racing instrumentals run lead with guitar riffs, punctuated by percussion, providing a breaking-loose element. (Photo by CJ Simavi)

New Track: "When the Powers Out" - AllegrA

AllegrA recently surprised us with a new song, “When the Powers Out”. Bathed in an intimate,  melodic, beach-surf aesthetic, the single washes over in a relaxed wave of warmth, expressing a sense of support from a distance, amid a disconnect of communication. However, there is a desire to bridge that divide. Compromise can be difficult, and so can watching someone work through things on their own. (Photo by Roxanne Friedman)

New Video: An Allston Pudding Session - AllegrA

Filmed by Matt Hamer, an Allston Pudding Session, featuring AllegrA, was recently posted. Over the course of three new songs, “Spoon or Fork,” “Subtle Ignition,” and “Twisting Of,” the quartet exhibits an intimate vulnerability, with the knack to hit a somewhat volatile, downhill trajectory. Forging a zoomed-in familiarity and then shifting the dynamics, the songs build up the emotive pressure, before releasing it to the ether.

New AllegrA LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

The self-titled debut full-length album from Pittsburgh transplant AllegrA was recently released via Sad Cactus. There’s a delightful balance of casual-swaying instrumentation, fortified by poignant lyricism, which is focused but not forced. Allegra Eidinger’s vocals exude an air of reassuring confidence, while inhabiting a cozy space. They'll be holding their record release show tonight at Planet Phitness with Tombo Crush and Snake Boy Gang. (Photo by A.W. Klass.)
